Still time to book yourself on exciting Easter activities

Young people in the north of Hereford still have time to book themselves a place on a range of exciting activities taking place during the Easter holidays.

Whether you like creating, cooking or composing, Close House, located in St Peter’s Close, opposite Gilbies in Hereford City Centre, is sure to have something to suit most people’s tastes.

The free activities for 13 to 17-year-olds are being provided by Herefordshire Council’s youth service in partnership with Close House.

The activities available are:

ART (limited to 10)
Thursday 5th April 2pm – 5pm. Meet at Close House.
A chance to make a big piece of artwork using acrylic paints. Please bring an old shirt to wear to protect your clothes.

COOKING (limited to 6 per session)
Tuesday 10th April 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm. Meet at Close House.
A chance to make some fun food. If you want to take some home, please bring a plastic container.

MUSIC (limited to 6 per session)
Wednesday 11th April 10am – 1pm and 1.30pm – 4.30pm. Meet at Close House.
A chance to learn/improve your skills on drums, guitars and keyboard.

MULTIMEDIA (limited to 10)
Thursday 12th April 10am – 5pm at Close House
An opportunity to make a short film and to understand something of what is involved – from ideas and storyboard to editing and finishing a film. Come with some ideas for the film. Please bring lunch with you as there will not be time to get something in town.
