Every school holiday the Council’s Outdoor Education Team put on canoeing, sailing and kayaking for 13-19 year olds.
This time it’s different – the team is trying something new this half term for those not so keen on getting wet.
Lead by experienced mountain bike leaders, participants will have the opportunity to try out lots of new skills, whatever their level, including having a go at down hill riding.
The cost is £15 per day which includes transport to the venue from Hereford together with the hire of a mountain bike and helmet – no experience necessary.
“It’s a great way to have fun and develop some new skills in a nice and challenging environment,” said Nick James-Williams from the Outdoor education Team.
“We’re trying to broaden the range of activities we offer young people and are looking at archery and team building exercises for future events.
“Bookings for the mountain biking days are going well, so anyone interested is encouraged to contact us quickly,” he added.
