Herefordshire Tourism will be represented at the two-day British Travel Trade Fair, at the NEC, on March 1 and 2, in a trade stall decorated entirely in green – to reflect the county’s picturesque landscape.
The annual event is an important opportunity to promote the county to the travel trade in a bid to secure more visitors.
Herefordshire Tourism will promote the county under the banner of the G8, which stands for:
Green English countryside – focusing on the county's award-winning 'Growing Green Tourism Business Awards' and 'Wildlife Weekend Breaks';
Gentle rolling landscapes - alive with activities for all ages;
Great hospitality - where people have time for their visitors;
Gourmet menus – highlighting the 'Flavours of Herefordshire Awards' and a new ‘Herefordshire Food Festival’;
Grapevines – thanks to the county's award-winning vineyards;
Golf – including the highest course in England;
Great festivals – such as the ‘Three Choirs Festival’, ‘Ledbury Poetry Festival’, ‘Hay Literature Festival’;
Great for groups – with its world-renowned Mappa Mundi and chained library, cider museum, and gardens.
