Printmaking workshop

16 February 2006

Fine art printmakers The Sidney Nolan Trust will stage a printmaking workshop at Leominster Library next month (March).

Staff from the Marches-based group will be on hand to demonstrate etching press, intaglio printing techniques such as drypoint and collagraph and much more.

The workshop, organised in association with Herefordshire Council’s Libraries Service, is aimed at 11 year olds – adults and will be held on March 4, from 10am – 4pm.

Anne-Marie Dossett, Libraries Access and Learning Development Officer, said: “This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to get creative and learn about printing.

“The workshop only costs £1 which includes materials. But places are limited and anyone who wants to attend needs to book in advance by contacting Leominster Library on (01432) 383290.”
