Ann Cleeves visits Ross-on-Wye

07 November 2005

Nationally-acclaimed crime writer Ann Cleeves will be special guest of honour during a murder mystery evening at Ross-on-Wye Library next month.

The author is described as one of the most accomplished and prolific of the new generation of crime fictional novelists.

She will play the leading role during the intriguing mystery ‘Brought to Book,’ at Ross Library, on December 2, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £3 to include a glass of wine during the interval, are on sale now by contacting Ross Library on (01432) 260646.

“We are thrilled that Ann Cleeves has agreed to stage the murder mystery evening,” said Ann-Marie Dossett, Herefordshire Council Librarian.

“Her ability as a crime writer will add ambience and make the event that bit more real and special.”

A prize will be awarded to the best detective in the audience after Ann Cleeves reveals who the murderer is and gives away the clues that blew their cover.
