Half-Term Fun At County Libraries

29 September 2005

Herefordshire libraries have lined up an exciting programme of events for youngsters over the half-term holidays.

Everything from a poetry workshop in Leominster, break-dancing in Bromyard and massage and story telling in Ross will be held between October 22 – 29.

The programme of activities is a joint partnership between Herefordshire Council’s libraries service and HEarts Partnership.

Anne-Marie Dossett, Librarian, said: “There will be a wide range of events across Herefordshire’s libraries providing something for children of all ages.

“All the events are free of charge but places are limited and need to be booked in advance.

“The high point is a poetry workshop with Dreadlockalien, at Leominster Library, on October 29, from 2pm – 4pm.

“This will be an adventure story and game and different from poetry as you know it.”

For full details including booking contact Anne-Marie Dossett on (01432) 260646.
