New Deputy Leader Of Herefordshire Council

Cllr Roger Philips, Leader of Herefordshire Council, has announced that Cllr Don Rule, Cabinet Member (Children’s Services), has accepted the role as the Deputy Leader of Herefordshire Council.

Cllr Rule’s appointment follows the death of Cllr George Hyde, the former Deputy Leader of the Council, who died on September 12 following a battle with cancer.

Cllr Rule, who continues in his role as Cabinet Member (Children’s Services), takes up the post of Deputy Leader with immediate effect.
