Family Fun In October

Families across Herefordshire are being targeted over the half-term holiday as part of a national campaign aimed at promoting learning.

Herefordshire Council will run an action-packed programme of activities from 21 different venues across the county between October 8 – 29.

Popular activities will range from music and drama to crafts and gardening as well as puppet-making, kite-making and cookery.

Councillor Roy Stockton, Cabinet Member (Community Services) said: “I strongly urge parents, grand parents and carers from across Herefordshire to come along with their children to these events to learn new exciting things in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere”

Family Learning Week is organised annually by the Campaign for Learning, a national charity.
