Whitecross Traffic Calming Exhibition

14 September 2005

Proposals for a traffic calming scheme outside Hereford’s new Whitecross School will be put on show at a public exhibition to be held later this month.

The exhibition will be held in Trinity Primary School on Wednesday and Thursday, September 28 and 29, from 3pm to 8pm on both days.

Staff from the Council and their consultants will be available at the exhibition to explain the Council's proposals and answer any questions.

The exhibition will provide details of the Council's proposed 20mph speed limit and associated pedestrian and cycle measures in the vicinity of the new Whitecross High School which is scheduled for opening in Spring 2006.

Questionnaires will be distributed locally prior to the event and can be obtained at the exhibition. These can be used to submit comments to Herefordshire Council regarding the proposals.
