Private Landlord's Forum

A Private Landlords’ Forum is being held on Wednesday, September 14 at 7pm at Herefordshire Council, Council Chamber, Brockington, Hafod Road, Hereford. 

The Forum is an opportunity for discussion for anyone involved in letting in the private rented sector including property professionals, private landlords and prospective landlords.

The following speakers will be attending:-

Financial Incentives for Housing Homeless People -
Derek Allen, Change Manager Homelessness, Herefordshire Council.

Housing Benefits –
Susie Binns, Principal Benefits Manager, Herefordshire Council.

Housing Act 2004 Update -
Denise Bradley-Lloyd, Private Sector Housing Manager, Herefordshire Council.

Richard Gabb, Head of Strategic Housing said: “The Council recognises that private landlords play an important role in providing much needed rented housing in Herefordshire. 

“The forum provides an excellent opportunity for the Council to help landlords access a range of information, receive advice but to also find out what issues are affecting them and what we can do to help.”

As well as the speakers, there will be opportunities to ask questions during the forum and the chance to meet other housing professionals in an informal setting.

Entrance is free and refreshments will be provided.  There will also be general information available.
