Herefordshire Council honours two-minute silence

11 July 2005

Herefordshire Council will be observing the two-minute silence this Thursday, July 14, at 12 noon to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks in London.

The Chairman of Herefordshire Council, Cllr John Edwards, and the Chief Executive, Neil Pringle, will lead Councillors and Officers in the silence.

“Our sympathies are with the injured and the bereaved, innocent victims of this barbaric assault,” said Cllr John Edwards, Chairman of Herefordshire Council.

“We would urge all people in Council-owned buildings to join us as we observe the two-minute silence to remember the victims of this terrible crime,” added Cllr Edwards.
