Kingstone Action Group has formed to address the quality of life issues such as anti social behaviour, road safety, and vandalism among others.
The group consists of community representatives interested in community safety issues in their local area and supported by local agencies such as Registered Social Landlords, local police and the Herefordshire Community Safety and Drug Partnership.
Following the Rural Safety Initiative they are posting incident reports forms to all households in the community.
Laura Scotford, Community Development Worker, (Herefordshire Community Safety and Drugs Partnership) said: “The Group encourages people in the community to report actual problems giving as much detail as possible and then post them into the yellow boxes which will be placed around the village at local services.
“The data will be collected over a 12 week period so the boxes will be available throughout this period and the boxes will be emptied on a regular basis.
“They will then collect this data and work towards addressing some of the problems reported.”
If anyone is interested in becoming a member/helper our meetings are as follows:
Tuesday 31st May 7pm at Kingstone Village Hall
Tuesday 28th June 7pm at Kingstone Village Hall
Tuesday 26th July 7pm at Kingstone Village Hall
