Info in Herefordshire has been leading in the redevelopment of the Bromyard Leisure Centre since the original idea was tabled some two years ago.
Currently based at the Area Office in Rowberry Street, INFO has been providing information on Herefordshire Council services, facilities for payment of Council Tax as well as maintaining the Tourist Information Centre.
Herefordshire Council’s customer service strategy is about making local services much more accessible in one place. INFO has joined forces with the library, halo leisure, young peoples services, tourist information and Learndirect to deliver all of the services from one location: the Bromyard Centre.
Lesley Lloyd, Local Co-ordinator for INFO, said: “What is really exciting about the Bromyard Centre is that INFO will provide an even wider range of services to the people of Bromyard.
“In fact, imagine a place where you can do all your essential business and then learn about your favourite subject, surf the net, e-mail your friends, do some exercise and have a coffee with friends?
“Well imagine no more and come and see us!”
The award winning Info in Herefordshire team will ensure that your enquiries will be dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and will endeavour to assist in any way possible. Currently the most popular county-wide enquiries are as follows;
· Council Tax and benefit enquiries
· Planning information
· Housing information
· Blue Badge applications
· Requests for repairs to roads and highways
· Payment facilities
Cllr June French, Cabinet Member (Human Resources and Corporate Support Services), added: “In fact INFO has been so proficient at serving the customers of Herefordshire, that they received the Charter Mark award for excellence in customer services and Investor In People for the rigorous training involved in becoming an INFO customer service adviser.”
The Bromyard Centre is the next step in delivering quality services to the people of Herefordshire. So why not visit the exciting Bromyard Centre when it opens its doors on Monday, January 5, 2004.
