Herefordshire Partnership comprises local and regional organisations which, by joint consultation and working, instigated a review in 2005 through which key issues for the county were identified. As a result, the Community Strategy for Herefordshire was produced in 2006. This document provides a strategic framework for groups and organisations to plan their work, and a focus for plans and strategies being developed. It is also used to maximise funding opportunities.
The Community Strategy sets out aspirations for the county by 2020 and how we might achieve them, and is guided by a Vision:
"Herefordshire will be a place where people, organisations and businesses working together within an outstanding natural environment will bring about sustainable prosperity and well being for all."
During the process of revising the Strategy, five important principles emerged which underpin everything we do, and these help Partners consider the impacts of all proposed actions on communities, the environment and the economy.

The LAA is a three-year agreement that is made between central government and the local area. It outlines the challenges for the county and how we are going to make life better for those who live and work in Herefordshire.
