Information for professionals and practitioners

Welcome to People's Services' online resource for Herefordshire's children's workforce.

Herefordshire Council values the diverse and high quality services delivered by its partners throughout the county and its own staff.  Through the left hand navigation you will find online information and support for specific sectors of our work with children, young people and families.

The children's workforce within Herefordshire works well together and our locality based multi agency groups, the Herefordshire Safeguarding Children's Board and the Children and Young People's Partnership are evidence of how well we are working together to provide joined up, comprehensive services.

Herefordshire is committed to providing the best possible services and outcomes for all children and young people and their families within the county. We aim to meet the needs of children and young people, where flexible and responsive services become increasingly targeted and specialist.  Accessible below is the Herefordshire Levels of Need and Service Response Guidance which summarises the different levels of need that a child or family may experience and how typical interventions from a range of services can meet these needs.
