Annual Performance Assessment

Self Assessment is a key element of the Joint Area Review (JAR) and Annual Performance Assessment (APA) process. It is the local process for analysing priorities and demonstrating the contribution to outcomes of the action taken. From 2007 it will be expected to align the review stage of the Children and Young People's plan forming a single document.

Inspector and assessors will use the evidence in the self assessment to reach judgements about impact and progress.
