Parish and Community Plan Grant

This grant is available to Parish and Town Council's to undertake a Parish or Community Plan in their area. The grant is a maximum of £1,800 or 60%, whichever is the lesser. The grant is paid in 2 instalments, 50% on acceptance of the grant offer and 50% on completion, subject to evidence of expenditure and adherence to the process and supported by the community development worker.

Priority will be given to parishes who:

• Are undertaking a parish or community plan for the first time.
• Applications to renew plans over 5 years old will also be considered but the grant amount will be apportioned depending on the level of rework required.
• Are in a position to start work on their Parish Plan
• Have a local Steering Group set up which represents the whole community, (including the Parish/Town Council where applicable)
• Can demonstrate how they will make use of appropriate advice and information
• Can demonstrate how the whole community will be given the opportunity to be involved
