Community Buildings Energy and Building Condition Audit Scheme

Herefordshire Council has secured external funding to offer up to 100 community halls a free Energy Efficiency and Condition Audit.  The aim of the surveys is to assist hall committees by identifying where maintenance is required and to identify and energy efficiency improvements that can be made to reduce the energy usage.

The audit will only be offered to facilities that are open to and available for hire by the wider community.

To apply village hall committees need to complete an expression of interest and a questionnaire (download from resource box below) and return them before 1/8/11 with 2 years of energy bills for the hall to Delegated Grants Team, Herefordshire Council, PO Box 4, Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0XH.
