There are three elements currently available to the Community Buildings Grant Scheme:-
Capital Grants Scheme - this aims to support the development and/or enhancement of community buildings. Projects with a total cost of £10,000 or more are able to apply for up to £15,000 or 25% whichever the lesser.
Community Buildings Improvement Grant - this aims to support improvements of community buildings for projects that are less than £10,000 in total. Applicants are able to apply for up to £2,000 maximum or 50% of the total project costs.
Feasibility Study Grant - this aims to support feasibility work to determine the creation or improvement/refurbishment of a facility intended for wide community use. The grant is a maximum of £2,000 or 50% of the total project costs, whichever is lesser.
The closing date for all 3 of the schemes detailed above is 19th September 2008.
