Burial and Cremation Searches
We are able to carry out a search of our records for all burials and cremations carried out in Hereford Cemetery and Crematorium, Leominster, Kington and Wigmore Cemeteries. Please be advised of the following charges for this service.Burial Search
For a burial search where you are able to provide full, accurate information, e.g. full name, date of death and date of burial the fee payable is £15.00
For a burial search where you are only able to provide partial information the fee payable is £38.00
A certificate will be issued upon completion of the search, however may we draw your attention to the possiblility of the deceased not being buried in a Herefordshire Council Cemetery
Cremation Search
We are able to carry out a search of our records for all cremations carried out at Hereford crematorium since 1956. Cremation searches are carried out free of charge, but if you require a copy of the certificate of cremation the a fee of £8.00 is payable.
Payment
Payment can be made by cheque (payable to Herefordshire Council) by cash or over the phone using a credit or debit card, please note our office hours
When payment has been received, we will endeavour to answer any enquiry with five working days.
