Chapel windows

The windows at the back of the chapel can be dedicated with a stained glass.  The centre window was chosen for such a memorial during the design stages and has been dedicated in memory of Mr John Sperry.

Centre window

During the design stage of the new crematorium, Mr Richard Claridge, John's partner offered to donate a stained glass window.  One that would be appropriate to the purpose of the building, yet at the same time be uplifting and calming for those within it.

After many months in the design and painting, the window has now been installed.

Artist impression of all five windows A scheme has now been developed for the remaining four windows. In time as donations come in, it will be possible to transform the whole north-west face with warm and gently coloured light, a source of comfort and inspiration.

For further information on dedicating a window, please contact the Crematorium Office.
