Project Development, part of Herefordshire Council's Community Regeneration Team, is responsible for providing free advice and information on funding sources for projects to individuals and organisations throughout the county. A Funding Directory is produced three times a year giving up to date information on local, regional and national sources of grant aid and advice. A Funding Fair is held in October each year, where funders and advice organisations can give one to one help to community and voluntary groups.

Project Development aims to turn good ideas for social and economic regeneration into effective action, and:

• gives advice about the most suitable grants for a project proposal
• helps with completing application forms
• ensures that projects are co-ordinated with other projects and fit with the aims of the Herefordshire Community Strategy.
