Welcome to The Voice! magazine. The Voice! is written by Herefordshire based drug users and carers for other drug users and carers and is published twice a year in Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter.
It is predominately a harm reduction and advice magazine, which contains information on a wide range of subjects including service providers, feature articles, poems, recipes, puzzles, stories, photographs and drawings from service users and carers throughout the county.
The magazine is designed, produced and published by Herefordshire Community Safety Partnership, with invaluable assistance from service providers, users and carers.
The first pilot issue, which was launched on Tuesday 16th December 2008, was so well received that additional funding was immediately acquired to continue the magazine into 2009 and beyond.
If you wish to contribute any stories, poems or artwork, have any ideas for future editions or perhaps wish to become involved with the production of the magazine, please contact us on the below mentioned details or speak to your Key Worker.

The second edition of The Voice! magazine for Spring / Summer 2009, is now available.
It once again contains personal contributions from Herefordshire's service users and carers and we've also continued the popular 'Spotlight On' series.
For Issue 2, we've created a new question and answer section (as suggested by a wonderful carer contributor), which will hopefully prove to be very successful.

We've incorporated a few new ideas including recipe and quiz sections, which we hope you'll enjoy.

The fourth edition of The Voice! magazine is now available and covers Spring / Summer 2010.
We've continued our puzzle page whilst including a four page pullout recipe booklet, which was kindly donated by Family Drug Support members. We've also featured informative articles on Here 4 Women, Job Centre Plus and UNLOCK.

The fifth edition of The Voice! magazine was distributed in December, covering Autumn / Winter 2010.
It's actually our largest edition to date, so we're immensely proud of how it's all going! We've included our regular puzzle and recipe sections, along with feature articles on Hope Scott House, CLD Counselling Trust, Hereford Photographer Justin Peers and The Winter Shelter. We even managed to squeeze in a few poems and photographs along the way!
The sixth edition will be available in March / April, so if you would like to make a contribution please contact Sharon Amery at samery@herefordshire.gov.uk by Friday 4th March 2011.
The sixth edition of The Voice! magazine was released in April, covering Spring / Summer 2011.
The 28 page edition once again includes our puzzle and recipe sections, along with numerous poems, an update on the Government's 2010 Drug Strategy, information on Tuberculosis (TB) and volunteering in Herefordshire, one local woman's true story about Hepatitis and a national Heroin warning.
