Bromyard is known as "Active Community Transformation Bromyard" (ACT), to reflect the range of issues they address.
The Forum works towards tackling local issues of substance misuse and alcohol and is made up of representatives from a wide range of local community organisations, including education, West Mercia Police and Youth Services.
ACT has run a number of successful projects and initiatives in the Bromyard area.
For the last two years the forum has secured funding to run "Youthfest", which has provided activities for young people in Bromyard throughout the summer holidays. Figures have shown that there is a decrease in anti social behaviour during the time that this activity programme was being run.
