Road safety

Most collisions occur on country roads, and our rural roads network can be particularly dangerous, especially in the winter or during extreme weather conditions.

Residents in Herefordshire are more likely to be involved in a driving incident than they are being a victim of crime.

We support a number of educational campaigns to educate young people about road safety, including the 'Dying to Drive' initiative.
