The Drugs Intervention Programme works with local agencies to help adult drug using offenders to access treatment. This is with a view to reducing their offending behaviour, which is often directly related to their drug misuse.
DIP is a small dedicated team of Tier 2 Criminal Justice drug workers, working with people within the criminal justice system who experience problems with drug use.

This service often results in a whole host of positive outcomes for clients. The main aims are to motivate change, enable harm reduction techniques, increase problem solving skills and ultimately reduce offending.
