Drugs Forums

There are six drug forums across Herefordshire. They are attended by local people who develop projects to address drug issues in their community. Projects have included introducing needle bins, planning educational campaigns and activities and holding awareness or drop in events.

Herefordshire Community Safety and Drugs Partnership has set up six Drugs Forums to tackle drugs issues through local campaigns, education and treatment. Find out more details about each by clicking the list below:

• Kington Area Drug and Alcohol Forum
• Ledbury Area Drug and Alcohol Forum
• Leominster Area Drug and Alcohol Forum
• Ross-on-Wye Area Drug and Alcohol Forum
• South Wye Area Drug and Alcohol Forum

Each forum aims to:

• Co-ordinate local initiatives and projects
• Give local feedback on county wide policies
• Promote harm minimisation, community safety and community awareness projects
• Provide up to date local information and support to Herefordshire Community Safety and Drugs Partnership
• Keep an open mind and non-judgemental attitude to drug and alcohol misuse
