Love Your Local Market
This iniative has been inspired by TV personality Mary Portas through her recent 'Review of the High Street' and is being fully supported by Herefordshire Council through its Markets and Fairs team.The Council is delighted to encourage local entrepreneurs to get involved in the vibrant local street scene in a unique opportunity to try their hand at market trading. The intention is to offer free pitches at selected Council organised Retail Markets across the county.
The events will run during the national 'Love Your Market' fortnight which takes place between 23rd June and 8th July 2012, and will include the following locations:
Hereford - 23rd June
Ross - 30th June
Kington - 3rd July
Leominster - 6th July
We are looking for enterprising people, new to the concept of street markets, especially those seeking to become a regular fully fledged trader in their own right. All items offered for sale must be new and the stall should have a particular theme or product range.
