Butter Market, Hereford

About Hereford Buttermarket

The Buttermarket, as it's name suggests, was once the market devoted entirely to the sale of butter, cheese and other dairy products.

The market hall was originally opened in 1860 and remains a traditional trading area. The building has an ornate clock tower and is a grade II listed building.

Today the market hall, still referred to as the Buttermarket, houses 30 stalls, offering a wide range of products.
