Here are a sample of some of the savings that companies have achieved in 2008 through their BEA membership . . .
A Horticultural company member saved
- 30,000 litres of water through recycling systems.
- £2,200 on reduced waste sent to landfill.
- 3,000 units of electricity per annum.
An Educational institution member saved
- £2,000 in water usage through a Building Management System.
- £1,000 in cleaning through changes in chemicals and dosing systems used.
A Manufacturing company member saved
- On the number of commercial batteries being disposed of through new research into battery life.
