Property Register

The team maintains a comprehensive database of available commercial property in Herefordshire and provides a confidential Property Enquiry Service to assist in identifying suitable development sites and premises for businesses starting up, expanding or relocating in Herefordshire. Worcestershire County Council provides a similar service through the Chamber of Commerce, and commercial properties in Worcestershire can be searched for by following the link in the External Links box further down the page.

Information from the database/Register can normally be e-mailed or faxed within a few hours if necessary, and is downloadable from the Resources box below. The database can be searched on-line by using the External Link further down the page, but please note that Herefordshire properties are only categorised as Development Land, Industrial/Warehouse, Office, Retail or Development Opportunities and nothing will be returned for other categories.

If you are using our service on-line please register as an enquirer by emailing economicinvestment@herefordshire.gov.uk with your contact details and a brief resume of your requirements (e.g. what type of unit you're looking for, how big, where, how soon, for what sort of business etc.). This helps us to keep in touch with what's happening in the county. It also helps us to help you in the future. Information you provide will not be passed on to any third party organisation, unless you request it, and will help us to justify providing the service. We welcome any feedback about our service and the outcome of your enquiry.

In addition to the property database the Council's Property Services team maintains a list of Council owned properties which are available for sale or let. This includes specific units available on the Rotherwas estate, as well as units in other parts of the county. Property Register
The Herefordshire Council Property Register is a publication which is produced quarterly from the commercial property database and is available free of charge on request or can be downloaded. The Register provides a summary of the property details, with pictures where available, and a contact for further information. Information on available sites and premises is gathered from the following sources:

• Industrial and commercial agents
• Property owners
• Herefordshire Council's Property Services Unit
• Local and National Press advertisements

Inclusion on the database and in the Register is free. The information is checked every three months but updates and additions to the database are carried out as soon as they are received. The standard form for providing us with property information can be downloaded in MS Word format by clicking New Property Form from the resources box below, or a PDF version by clicking PDF Version of the New Property Form. Please contact us if you wish to discuss adding a property or you need any more information. Herefordshire properties are categorised as Development Land, Industrial/Warehouse, Office, Retail or Development Opportunities. Properties needing work, such as redundant farm buildings, are classified as Development Opportunities.

Sections of the November 2008 to January 2009 Property Register are downloadable below (see Resources Box). Properties which are new or have changed since the last published Register are highlighted. The areas include :
