Business Start Up

In the past Herefordshire Council has provided a business start up grant as a discretionary scheme which aims to give training and financial assistance to anyone wishing to start up and operate their own business (subject to availability, certain criteria and excluding accommodation providers).

No funding is currently available for the scheme but it will be reconsidered in the new financial year (April 2008).

Businesses which have benefited from the first stage part of this scheme will still be able to claim the second part of the grant on completion of 12 months of trading.
