Paying Your Business Rates
Personal payments can be made at the following Herefordshire Council Offices:
The Hereford Centre, Garrick House, Widemarsh Street, Hereford
Opening Hours for Payments:
Monday to Thursday: 9.00 am to 4.45 pm
Friday: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
Saturday: 9.00 am to 12.45 pm
Swan House, Edde Cross Street, Ross-on-Wye; St Katherines, Ledbury and 11 Corn Square, Leominster
All of the above offices are open during the following hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9.00 am to 4.45 pm
Friday: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
The Bromyard Centre, Cruxwell Street, Bromyard
Monday to Friday: 9.00 am to 9.00 pm
Saturday: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
The Kington Centre, 64 Bridge Street, Kington
Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Tuesday: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
Thursday: 12 noon to 6.00 pm
By Post
To the Rates Section, Herefordshire Council, PO Box 224, Hereford, HR1 2XW. Do not send cash. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Herefordshire Council’.
By Direct Debit
- The easiest way to pay is by direct debit. You will always be told about any changes and you can cancel it at any time. You are guaranteed an immediate refund of any payment which breaks the terms of your instruction. You can set up direct debit payments over the phone by contacting the Rates Section on 01432 260373 or by downloading an instruction shown at the foot of this page. The instruction must be completed, signed and returned to the address shown on the instruction. Alternatively, you can ask for a form at any of the Council offices listed on the Contact Information page.
Online
- Herefordshire Council offers an online facility for paying your business rates. For instructions on how to use this facility, click on "Paying Bills Online" at the foot of this page.
By Debit Card
You may pay your business rates by debit card at any of the cash offices or by phoning 01432 383525. This service is available during the following times:
Monday to Wednesday: 8.45 am to 4.45 pm
Thursday: 8.45 am to 4.00 pm
Friday: 8.45 am to 4.30 pm
