An opportunity for shops in the local area to look at some of the big issues affecting the local high street and how they can overcome them.

With reports continuing to show a decline in high-street sales and a difficult trading period forecast for the rest of 2009, Business Link West Midlands is running a series of FREE roadshow to help local retailers act now and work together to increase sales and reach more customers.

Delivered by a leading retail expert, each 2-hour session is tailored to your local area so that you and your fellow shop owners can outline what issues are impacting your businesses and discuss possible solutions to address these problems.

Whatever the issues - maybe your high street is losing sales to a new superstore or your area is becoming deserted as more retainer move on - joining forces with Business Link and other like-minded businesses can help you survive through these challenging times.

What can I expect?

At each session, a team of highly experienced Business Link Advisers will be on hand to discuss your business issues.  These include BL's specialist retail expert and Advisers.  You will also be able to share experiences and learn from the retailers in your area.

Each roadshow aims to:
