This is an aerial photograph taken by the artist after completing this 7 day drawing made in an orchard in Worcestershire. The drawing was made by collecting the windfall apples from underneath the apple trees in the orchard and laying them down by hand. The design of the drawing was not planned but emerged through the process of its making. This photograph documents the first view of the finished drawing.
