Why have these web pages?

Co-ordinating consultation and encouraging engagement are priority areas of work for Herefordshire Partnership and Herefordshire Council.  Increasingly, groups and organisations are expected to consult service users, local communities and interest groups and it is important this is done effectively to avoid duplication of effort and possible consultation fatigue.

As a part of  Herefordshire Partnership's ambition to "encourage communities to shape the future of Herefordshire", these pages are intended to help raise awareness of best practice in consultation and engagement and aid the co-ordination of this activity across the County.
